Hi! I’m Keefer, a web and programming student at LSC, soon completing my AAS degree. I have hands-on experience from an IT internship and enjoy building personal projects, especially using C#. I’m passionate about creating practical, efficient solutions and exploring new technologies to bring ideas to life.

Whether I’m coding a small project or diving into complex programming challenges, I’m always eager to learn, improve, and contribute. This site is a showcase of my work, my journey, and my love for problem-solving through technology.

Cover Letter

I am Keefer Thorson, and I am keen on joining your team as a software engineering intern. Currently, I am enrolled in LSC’s programming department and want to apply what I’ve learned in a real environment.
My past and present experiences have built a strong foundation in both programming and design. I’ve needed to work as a group but also build and work by myself to fully realize a project. At my school I worked in a team to construct a functioning electric car created to save fuel economy as much as possible. This gave me experience with not only a deadline, but it also showed me how to work with a budget and work in a fast-paced environment.
I have also created my own projects using version control systems. This has given me experience working from my own PC along with knowledge of git & GitHub. Learning and solving my own problems have given me the know how to make new solutions to issues and has given me great attention to the smaller things alongside the overarching goal.
Becoming a member of the Arctex team would be an excellent opportunity to grow my technical skills and create programs that could make a difference. I believe my foundation as well as dedication and discipline would fit this role greatly. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to further discussion.

Sincerely,
Keefer Thorson
